This is the highest level of membership and is granted to persons with one of the following levels of accreditation.

    * Five year degree in interior design/ architecture + one year of professional experience

    * Four year degree in interior design/architecture + two years of professional experience

    * Three years certification in interior design/architecture+3 years of professional experience

    * Two yearsc ertification in interior design/ architecture, + four years of professional experience

    * One year of interior design education + six years of practical professional experience

    * A secondary school diploma plus eight years of practical professional experience

 

Candidates with less than three years work experience will initially be granted Associate membership.

ALLIED MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS: Design technicians can join APID to enjoy the same privileges of membership, with the exception of point 2 above. Criteria will be reviewed on an individual basis to determine eligibility.
